Mission Statement

The Bremerton Arts Commission is committed to celebrating and encouraging the Arts, and enriching the environment and experiences of our community.

The Bremerton Arts Commission represents our community during the creative phase of new city development or improvement projects. 1% of the construction funds for a project are set aside to enhance common public areas or structures either associated with the funding or as a general community improvement from pooled funds.

The Bremerton Arts Commission aids City Council in sharing the vision of the community, promotes community outreach and education, enhances the City’s public spaces along with maintenance and preservation of public art. The Arts Commission also supports opportunities to celebrate the City’s multi-cultural and diverse character.

Get involved in the ARTS!

If you wish to serve as an Arts Commissioner we welcome you to complete an online application. Applications  are accepted on a rolling basis. As positions become available vacant seats are filled by selection of the Mayor from the pool of applicants on file. Art Commissioner terms are 4 years.

Public input is important to the Arts Commission. Please come to a meeting and get involved.
