Sheridan Park Community Center

About the Center
Sheridan Park Community Center is owned and operated by the City of Bremerton Parks and Recreation Department.

Sheridan Park is over 33,000 square feet with a wood floor gymnasium, five meeting rooms, art studio, preschool classrooms, administrative offices, and grounds. A wide variety of recreational program, classes, and events are held regularly including:
  • Action Camps
  • Annual Senior Craft Fair
  • Birthday parties and celebrations
  • Boys and men's basketball leagues
  • Classes for all ages and interests
  • Indoor playground
  • Senior singers
Sheridan Park Community Center
Park History
The building was acquired from the Public Housing Administration on June 30, 1948. Over the years, some very popular entertainers have performed in this venue including:
  • Alice in Chains
  • Jerry Lee Lewis
  • JP Patches
  • MXPX
  • The Ventures
Very little structurally has changed over the years however the grounds have been improved and include lower and upper Sheridan Park tot play areas.
