Project Overview

The City allocates money each fiscal year for rehabilitation, replacement and/or repair of substandard sanitary sewer mains. This project provides for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer mains using the trenchless technology known as cure-in-place pipe (CIPP).

This program is important for a number of reasons. As a sewer main begins to reach the end of its useful life, it may deteriorate past the point that it can structurally support the loads imposed on it. This can lead to a line collapse, which may disrupt the sewer service for residents and businesses, cause damage to the road above and to other adjacent utilities, or cause waste spills. The Project Fact Sheet will be added when the design for 2018 has been completed

When there are street closures or lane/parking restrictions, they will be added to and be viewed on the weekly Street Closure Report.
