City Clerk's Office Now Accepts Passport Applications

City of Bremerton City Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce that it will begin accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State on Monday, March 5, 2018. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) from 9am-Noon or 1pm-4pm at the Norm Dicks Government Center, located at 345 6th Street, Suite 100.

City Clerk Shannon Corin stated, “Since the service was discontinued due to the recession, staff have been looking for ways to bring it back. With the move of the City Clerk’s Office to the first floor of the Norm Dicks Government Center and the addition of a full-time position, it provided an opportunity to restore this service for the community.”

For application forms, information on documentation required, fees, and a wealth of other passport and international travel information, visit the U.S. Department of State's official website for passport information: travel.state.gov.
