City Welcomes USS John C. Stennis

On January 8, 2005 hundreds of family members and local officials, braved the cold weather to welcome the U.S.S. John. C. Stennis to Bremerton. Bremerton Mayor Cary Bozeman was on hand to personally welcome Captain David H. Buss, crew members and their families. County Commissioners Patty Lent, Chris Endresen and Jan Angel were also present.

"We are proud to welcome the U.S.S.Stennis to Bremerton. This is an important economic boost for the City and county." said the Mayor. The Stennis is replacing the Carl Vinson which is leaving Bremerton this Thursday.
