Mayor Patty Lent began serving a four year term as Mayor of Bremerton in November 2009.
From 2003 thru 2006 she served as Kitsap County Commissioner. As an elected Commissioner she held leadership positions on every committee which she served:
Washington State Association of Counties, Western Region President
Puget Sound Regional Council, GMA Policy Board Chair
Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council, Chair
Kitsap County Health District, Chair for two years
Hood Canal Coordinating Council
Washington State County Road Administration Board, Vice President, where she worked to write and edit legislation that was signed into law and affects all 39 counties of Washington State.
Currently Mayor Lent serves on the following boards:

Mayor Lent has lived in Bremerton over 22 years and she and her husband Doug have a blended family of five children and eight grandchildren.
