Sub Area Planning
Why A Subarea Plan?Bremerton's Comprehensive Plan has a strong centers-based growth strategy. Most of the City's mixed use, commercial and multi-family development is planned for Downtown, and a series of District and Neighborhood Centers. The City has adopted detailed Sub Area Plans for several of the centers where focused growth is anticipated. Sub Area Plans include detailed Comprehensive Plan land use designations, and development standards that are the zoning for the areas.
