Reserving Use of a Park

Thank you for choosing a Bremerton park for your event. A permit is required to reserve a play field, shelter or to use a park for a gathering of large amounts of people. Use permits allow Bremerton Parks and Recreation to prevent conflicts, make necessary preparations, prepare facilities, and to avoid over use of facilities. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Fee payment secures your reservation.

Reservations for rooms at the Sheridan Park Community Building, the Bremerton Senior Center or the Jarstad Aquatic Center are made through staff at each facility during regular operating hours. In all cases, appropriate fees will be charged.

Park Rules

• Pets are welcome, however pets must be on a leash and you must clean-up after your pets.
• Remember, it is illegal to bring into or consume any intoxicating liquors in any park.
• Park rules can be obtained from the Bremerton Parks and Recreation Office.

Playground Safety
The City's playgrounds are maintained by NRPA Playground Safety Standards. Park staff inspect playground equipment on a regular basis. The most important safety rule is: supervise your children while they play. Call us about these and other rules for the parks.
