SHERIDAN PARK PRESCHOOLChildren will gain social, emotional and cognitive skills, along with self-esteem and independence in this program. Our age appropriate curriculum consists of free choice interaction at developmental centers, circle time, arts and crafts, music and stories, snack and gym or outdoor time for each class. As partners with the Bremerton School District's Early Learning Program (Open Court), we put emphasis on reading and math readiness. Parents are asked to bring a snack for the class once a month and a change of clothes for your child. Our classroom is located in the lower level of the Sheridan Park Community Center. "KINDER" FUN ADVENTURES
AGES 4-5
This is a preschool preparedness class for the child ready to start kindergarten. Emphasis is placed on learning and getting ready for the school years. The curriculum is based upon Bremerton School District's "Open Court" Early Learning Program. Focus will be placed on fine motor skills, letter and number recognition. No class 1/21, 2/18 and 3/29. Class meets: Monday, Wednesday & Friday; 9:30AM-Noon.

This two day a week class is a great way to introduce your child to preschool. Your child will become acquainted with other children through play, discover art, stories, music and new friends! If your child is not ready for 2 days a week, ask for details on the one day a week option. Class meets Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-11AM.

INDOOR PLAYGROUND

Playground fun in the Sheridan Community Center Gym! We set up the gym with trikes, balls, kitchen equipment, play houses, climbers, tunnels and more. Fees: $3 Drop-in; $28/$22.50* for a 10 visit punch card. No Indoor Playground during spring break, Apr 1-5.
