Call For Artists
How to Apply to the City of Bremerton Artist Registry- All submissions must be submitted via postal mail or delivered in person. Submittals will not be permitted via electronic mail.
- Do not submit work in binders or folders; do not paperclip or staple together any pages of the application.
- Each page of submittal materials must include the applicant's name, address, phone number and email address.
- The application materials must be mailed in a 9x12 envelope or folded once in a 6 x 9 envelope.

Submittal Requirements
10 Digital Images of Artist's Work on CD-R
Only digital images will be accepted. The CD-R must be labeled with the artist's name and contact information. Embedded images, moving images, or audio files are not permitted. Applicants are encouraged to test digital work samples prior to submission. Applicants will not be contacted regarding problems with the proper function of work samples and may not be reviewed as a result. The following rules apply to all submissions:
File Format: Submit only "high" quality JPEGs (do not use GIFs, TIFFs or other formats). Choose the highest setting available. Save submitted JPEGs as baseline. Do not save images as a progressive JPEG file. Images should be 1500 pixels (72ppi) on the longest side.

Printed Image List
Each item listed should have the image file name, title of artwork, size of original art, medium, and price (even if it has been sold).

Printed Artist Statement
Provide a one page statement detailing the artist's work and how it relates to the public.
One or Two Page Printed Artist Resume
Proof of Residency
Provide a copy of any of the following: driver's license, voter registration, or utility bill. The proof of residency must have a street address; PO Box addresses will not be accepted as proof of residency.
Printed List of Three References
Submit name, address, phone number and email address for three references who can speak to the quality of the artist's work, ability to work with a variety of people, and complete work on a deadline and within budget.
Additional Support Materials (Optional)
No more than three additional printed pieces of support material that may help to illustrate the artist's work to the commission.
