Our vision statement is an idealized picture of our organization. It defines who we are, and where we are going. This principle provides the mechanism through which the Bremerton Police Department carries out its vision to be the best.

Our mission statement is our commitment to provide a safe community for all citizens. Our mission is our day-to-day work. The strength and well being of a community are affected by the character and effectiveness of its police officers and employees.

Our core values are principals upon which we base our policing philosophy. They define who we are and how we do business. Our core values are incorporated in everything we do. PRIDE, the acronym for our core values, Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence embodies the goals we strive to achieve. Our values remind us to consider our strength of character, pride in our profession and our commitment to our community. These values guide our daily decisions and actions and anchor our policies, goals and practices.

The mission of the Bremerton Police Department is to coordinate and lead efforts within the community to preserve the public peace, protect the rights of persons and safeguard property, prevent crime and provide quality public safety services.
